BREAD OF LIFE

This is a Christian organization devoted to meeting the needs of the hungry and homeless.  It operates an overnight shelter during the winter months, and provides food, supplies, and clothing for the homeless throughout the year.  It also conducts a Sunday Chapel Service for its guests.

There are many opportunities where you can serve.  Currently, there is a need for case managers and mentors.  For more information, call Raylene at 760-458-2612. 

INTERFAITH

Homelessness does not exist in isolation. It is always linked to other human conditions: hunger, under- or un-employment, inadequate parenting skills, physical, emotional and mental illness, illiteracy, lack of education and social skills, unawareness of available resources, and most of all, hopelessness, loss of human dignity and spiritual crisis. Interfaith Community Services exists to meet these needs.
