Your Network

Mar 03, 2010

God is actively seeking you out—continually drawing you into a closer relationship with himself.  This is first recorded in Genesis when he sought after Adam and Eve after they had sinned.  Today, he continues to reach you with the power of his love, his sacrifice on the cross.

For all practical reasons, he uses what I’d like to call ‘divine agents of influence’, one being the network of people around you.  He speaks to you through those around you in his attempt to draw you in.  Think of the last time someone said something to you that completely changed the direction of your life for good.  Instead of simply communicating to you by talking to you directly, or implanting ideas into your head, sometimes he chooses to use the influence of people around you.  Their testimony carries more weight than any website you can google, a religious pamphlet or self-help book.

Start paying attention to your network and see God at work.  He is alive and well, and actively reaching out to you.  Your utmost fulfillment in life is in him and he will do whatever it takes to have that relationship with you.
